Roof Edge Protection was established in 1984, as part of a large roofing company, to service roof safety and scaffold requirements.

In 1988 we patented a Cantilever Frame System enabling roofers to work safely without the need for traditional full height scaffolding. The system has since went on to be used in numerous prestigious contracts over the past two decades including;

• HM Prisons – Barlinnie, Greenock, Dumfries, Cortonvale

• Hospitals – Stobhill, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Southern General, Yorkhill, Crosshouse and Western General

• M.O.D – Coulport, Faslane, Rosyth Docks, RAF Lossiemouth

• Airports – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Prestwick

In 1995 Roof Edge Protection Ltd became an approved supplier and installer of Anchorman Roof Safety Systems (Fall Arrest) and Permanent Handrail Systems.

In 2008 we completed one of our largest ever installations, installing Anchoredge Handrails at 54 police stations for the West Midlands Police Authority

All of our operatives are fully employed and trained by us, ensuring a continuity and excellence of on-site service for our customers. Training is assessed on an annual basis and each and every one of our employees receives ongoing CITB training which includes CSCS, CISRS, IPAF and PASMA. We are an accredited PASMA contractor.
